 Italy Wins 2006 World Cup -- In a 5-3 Victory in penalties, Italy bested France to secure the 2006 World Cup. The match was stalled at 1-1 the end of extra time. This was Italy's first victory in the World Cup since 1982. It wouldn't be a World Cup without a bit of controvery and the head butt of France's Zidane is sure to be discussed at length along with the other red cards given out in the cup.
